The world around us in 2016 was interesting (to say the least), but for our company, we had a really great year.

A few of our highlights include:

  1. Creating an entirely new and improved telecom brand and launching the Capital Telecom portal. Capital Telecom services customers that make international phone calls or want to top up prepaid phones. The platform also allows a merchant to pay international bills, buy gift cards and send cell phones internationally.
  2. Introducing our training platform, On POinT Training (pride ourselves in training). As part of our fastest growing service, the compliance management portal, On Point Training has an ever-growing library of content that gets updated with the needs of the industry.
  3. Hosting our very first workshop at FiSCA could not be left off of the list of highlights. We discussed the top 10 reasons you are getting declined or exited from your bank. We cannot wait to return to FiSCA next year and provide the conference goers with some expert insight.

 

We welcomed 632 new customers and added four new employees to our team. Each employee was brought in to focus on a specific area of the compliance team and service our customers due to the overwhelming amount of growth we saw in 2016.

Our marketing team members were busy little bees during 2016. We introduced our industry-focused blog, kept you informed through emails and newsletters throughout the year and discovered that our custom compliance socks were a highly desired commodity.

During the year, we were able to get out and connect with the rest of the industry. Our team really enjoyed networking at FiSCA and CFSP. It is always great to get together with industry experts and customers to talk-shop.

We are very proud that we were able to speak to, help and service 57,205 calls this year. We enjoyed speaking to each and every one of you and helping you with your financial services business, compliance and banking needs.

Not only did our number of new customers grow, but so did the families of our employees. During 2016 we welcomed one sweet baby boy and recently discovered that two of our team members are expecting. Those precious additions will be arriving late spring.

Above all, we are very proud to have been involved in the financial service industry since 1977. Our fearless leader, William Souza, purchased his first check cashing location when he was 17 years-old and has had the passion to improve financial services ever since.

We are looking forward to what 2017 has to offer, growing our services and assisting each of our customers.
